Day 6
Picking through what is starting to become a jungle I found some baby leeks. We planted these early on and I'd actually forgotten about them as they are right in the middle of the grow bed surrounded by cabbages and tomatoes.
I know these leeks are wonderful when picked at this stage so after looking through some cook books I found a recipe for a creamy leek risotto*. An added chicken breast and this is the result.
