This weekend just seems to be exceptionally busy. We are installing the 2 new grow beds tomorrow and today we are running around making sure we have 95% of the things we need to minimise and dramas we may have.
Avoiding driving back and forth to hardware shops is the main key. So lunch is on the run and a bit of an old fashioned one at that. Egg and lettuce sandwiches.
One day we may put chickens in the yard but it will be a few years away so in the mean time a good quality free range version will suffice. This is the last of our current lettuce as most went to seed during the hotter weather. We have planted more but they’ll need a few weeks.
